An advertisement from the Vicksburg (MS) Register of Thursday, September 1, 1836, for the sale of 110 slaves, including 85 in Grenada, Mississippi and 25 from his residence near Florence, Alabama, which included "6 valuable house servants, and tradesmen of different kinds," by JLD Smith.
