This is an article about a raid on the home of singer Arthur Alexander in 1969. The raid netted "marijuana" and "other forms of unidentified drugs." While Alexander was an accomplished singer and a generally regarded as a country/soul pioneer, the Florence Times reported that he was a "well-known Negro rhythm and blues singer."
