This is a newspaper notice that a man named Patrick (about 25 years old) and a man named Lundsford (about 20 years old), both with a "yellow" complexion, ran away from the plantation of James Allen near Courtland, AL. Allen believed they were headed to Tuscumbia because Patrick was "acquainted with that place."
